Jarod and Katie met in 2001 on a youth ski trip. They had an instant connection from the first moment they met and remained friends for several years before they decided to take things to the next level. Jarod officially asked Katie to be his girlfriend on February 14, 2004. Katie reflects upon their first date here.

Jarod and Katie became Mr. and Mrs. Amos on May 26, 2007. The first couple of years of marriage were rough for Jarod and Katie. In fact, they were so bad that Jarod and Katie ended up separating for a few months before God worked in both of their hearts to bring them back together. Katie shares about their separation here.
Jarod and Katie live in Brookhaven, MS and at this point, they only have four legged children; a five year old chihuahua named Ginger, and a two year old boxer named Belle.
